The Cottonwood group is holding monthly meetings again!! Thanks to everyone who put in the effort to help us find a new meeting location! Please make note of the dates and time changes!
Our meeting this month centered around starting solid foods. When is the right time? What foods are a great 1st food?? We had a small group, but much discussion about when and exactly how to go about this much anticipated milestone.
Our discussion will be focused on Postpartum Depression. We will be having a guest speaker, so don’t miss this meeting!!

Take some time to write a thank you card to someone who has had an impact on your breastfeeding experience. Maybe a family member, or maybe a resturant who did not give you a hard time while breastfeeding.
This month’s topic was the importance of support.
Unfortunatley, meeting was canceled due to lack of attendance.
We had a great meeting today and a good turn out! Remember how cool it was to read what the little candy hearts said when they were stuffed into each Valentine in grade school? “Hugs,” “My Baby,” “Hot Mama” Well, they actually apply to breastfeeding mothers! Think about this the next time you grab a handful of those yummy treats!
La Leche League of Northern Arizona is a group of women who meet and support each other in their desire to feed their babies in the best possible way. We meet every month in the towns of Cottonwood and Flagstaff.
