Meeting Info
La Leche League’s meetings are held in a rotating series of 4 general topics. Each month we choose a more specific issue related to that topic. For example, in the Meeting 2, we may discuss in depth how to get breastfeeding off to a good start. We introduce ourselves and our children and open up to a round-robin style discussion with questions such as “What made/makes you anxious about breastfeeding in the early days?” It is important that each mother feel comfortable to contribute her thoughts and feelings so other mothers can learn and relate.
Our meetings are always open to all questions, even if they are not directly related to the meeting topic. La Leche League’s goal is to provide information and support to every mother. No question is a silly question, especially when it comes to a new baby!
